Ai entertained me as we passed rooms by, she kept tabs on people so
wherever we went and wherever there were people she would tell me a 
thing or two about them. Not surprisingly enough 90 percent of the guys 
knew her well and hollered at her as we passed. Ai made her living as a 
waitress in the day and at night as a strip dancer or mostly a 
prostitute, to care for her son and mother. In a way I was her only 
friend as I didn't diss her as other girls do for what she did and the 
reasons why she did them. Sometimes she would sound like my aunt when 
she gave me girl advice. I admired her cos she was very out spoken and 
apart form making friends fast wherever she went she also made too many 
enemies from those friends cos most of the girls' guys usually went to 
Ai for "comfort" when they're girls refused to. 

After a while Ai's date called her and she left and I continued my
"exploitation". I met a few girls who I knew either in school or 
through friends. Friends' friends. I stayed a while with them and we 
gossiped about artist, people, guy's asses, and the latest "hoes" etc. 
project gossip. Couples were grinding and dancing on the dance floor 
and I stayed and watched, behind all the girls. Though I was in the 
mood to dance I wanted an excuse to really dance so I went to the 
kitchen got some booze drank two jars, felt the highness kickin' in and 
so taking my heels off, gave them to my girls to hold, and ran to the 
dance floor, practically dancing alone and at the same time dancing 
with the crowd. I guess I was a really good dancer or probably too bad 
cos of the booze, cos most of the time people would look my way smile 
and continue. 

It was way past 12 and I wasn't tired from dancing (I'd been dancing for
2 hours straight now). In that time the booze started to wear off (it 
wasn't very strong). That was when I noticed Shane coming towards me. I 
continued dancing even though he was standing there. Then he pulled me 
towards him, I didn't feel like protesting as I didn't want to spoil 
the mood so I went along with him. It was cold outside on the terrace 
but I rally didn't feel like arguing but I guess he must have known I 
was cold so he gave me his jacket. We sat on the porch for a while then 
he said "haven't seen you for a while." 

"Yeah." 

"I got a job interview at Chi Town. They want me to come for an
interview." Oh wow how exciting. 

"Chicago?" 

"Yeah." 

"Wow! When?" 

"Next week Saturday. If I get the job, I don't think I'll come back
here. Maybe once or twice though..." 

"I wouldn't." I confessed. I guess that's why I wanted to attend a
university somewhere far away from here. The ghetto wasn't a place 
anyone who came out would like to go back. It was too risky. 

"yeah." He chuckled. Before our sexual encounter i always use to tell
him about how when i got rich i would leave the ghetto. The wind blew 
towards me as we talked so I tightened my hold on the jacket. "You 
cold?" he asked 

"Not exactly." 

"Here let me." He said, taking my arm and tugged me towards him. I got
up from my sit and sat on him, straddling his hips. Front to front. He 
started rubbing my thighs which were covered with goosebumps, as I wore 
shorts and a tank top, Then pulled me to him, I rested my head on his 
shoulder. "You warm?" He whispered into my ears. 

"Hmmm. You?" 

"Never warmer." We giggled and continued our body heating. His hands,
which had gone round my waist was now caressing my back. I moved more 
into him, encouraging him to continue. They continued their journey up 
and down my spine. This time I shivered cos it was a fact he was kinda 
teasing me. I must have moaned cos he said "you like?" I moaned some 
more and then his hands moved slowly very slowly to my front and came 
to my sex. After a few caressing and rubbing he left my thighs and 
headed up to my tummy. 

I decided to get him back, quickly went for his pants, zipped it open
and started my attack. He was hot, full and heavy in my hand, and i had 
no intention of turning back now. I stroked the velvety smooth length 
of him. Then His mouth settled over mine, it had been a long time since 
I had last being kissed by him so I went for it. The kiss was so 
searing, that it removed any remaining hesitation about the wisdom of 
my decision to live for the moment and make love to Shane evaporated 
into the electrically charged air around us. 

Cool air brushed my back as he unzipped my mini dress, that was when it
registered to me that I was at a party, outside on a balcony, and 
almost on the verge of being naked with Shane!! 

"Shane. No stop." 

"I was wondering when you'd come back to earth." He said grinning. Which
I didn't find funny. Smacking him on the head, I got off him and 
adjusting my dress, gave him an outrageous glare and went into the 
house. 

I ran for the bathroom, overcome with shame. I can't believe I had
almost just done it with Shane! But then, I couldn't believe I didn't 
mind if I had done it with him. With him would have been so natural and 
I know he wouldn't have tried to rush things. Like other guys, that is 
if I would have sex with other guys. I guess that's why I hadn't 
overreacted. After all it was Shane. 

I got out of the bathroom in search of Ai, to tell her I was leaving, as
I didn't feel like facing Shane again. Besides he must have done all 
this on purpose. Oooo was I going to kill him if he did this to get 
back at me!! With that set in my mind I headed for the kitchen as that 
was where I saw her heading for the last time I saw her.
