Posted by Guy Roberts I'm very proud of this story and belive its one of my best. I hope you all enjoy and let me now what you think. Thanks. -Guy
Posted by Grazza wow! that was amazing, u really went all out on this story, it was the best lesbo i had ever read, amazing, keep them comin!!!!!!
Posted by ac Ugh. do any other normal people hate this kinda crap? straight males don't have a CLUE what lesbianity means.
Posted by jackie do you ever wonder if people write their own reviews? I dont see somebody else saying this is the best lesbian story they've ever read.
Anyways, it was a good attempt. I think men should just NOT write lesbian material.
Posted by liz amen to that, sista. if they must, they may as well put it in the straight boys section.
but as jackie said, yeah, good for a guy, but just won't cut it.
Posted by Alyssa I'm sorry you're not getting the best reviews, because I actually really enjoyed this story. After I get off I don't usually give a crap about what happens at the end of the story, but this one I read through to the end just to see if they'll get together again. I hope you continue to write lesbian stories.
Posted by brand new writer I don't mind reading stories that are just sex or hardcore bdsm or whatever, but even so, *characterization* is what makes a huge difference. This story had almost none, and that, for me, was the thing that dragged it down. Make me care about the characters...otherwise I'm going to get bored. And it has nothing to do with whether you're a straight guy or whatever. I've seen straight guys write some pretty good lesbian erotica...try Jan Vincent's "Tenderness For a Rebel Without a Cause". (Likewise, I've seen lesbian women write some pretty good gay male erotica, too. Characterization!)
Posted by Jackie Well, as much as i respect "brand new writer" entirely, i am going to have to disagree with her response. I feel there is something different in writing by women. There is just this essence, a touch of femininity that a male could never compare to. Masculine society tends to dwell more on the sex, when the real turn on is the passion. Everything that surrounds the sex is what makes a scence hot. I dont think men grasp that concept like women do. Plus, I have found that once you experience something, it flows on the paper so much easier. The pen just takes you over. Obviously, its quite incapable for a man to have this advantage. On the other hand, i agree with characterization one hundred percent. No feeling, no characters NO STORY.
Of course, brand new writer could be right. Maybe there is a small handful of penises that know what lesbian women want. Maybe i just need to be proven wrong. Thanks a Bunch.
Posted by Kay well this is turning into quite a debate isn't it? Can males write lesbian stories? I too don't mind a story with just sex, it's a little light relief, but it just that males turn it into the sex, no emotion. My girlfriend is extremly different, she picks a story she likes, reads it like a thousand times and spends her time writing reviews bagging out the worst stories. She only ever likes the stories that actually have some sort of love in them and dosn't give a crap about the sex, once she read them a few times she actually tends to skip the sex scenes (don't ask me why, she just seems likes the story and foreplay), and they all seem to be written by females. Guys and chicks and so different and lesbian relationships are so different to m/f, for us (me and my girl) it's kinda about knowing what each other wants and needs and being able to fulfil it i guess, and i just don't think men can capture that. We think they write it like the chicks are that horney the'll fuck anyone and that is not what lesbianity is about, get what i'm saying? I don't really think a guy could ever capture a lesbian relationship right, cuz they don't even understand women, let alone a f/f relationship. I'm gonna quote my girlfriend here cuz she's always saying it and i reckon it's so right- "People assume gays [gay men] and lesbians are the same species. We in actual fact couldn't be more opposite. If gays are happy, then lesbians are estacic." Sure, maybe men can get all the sex scenes right and turn some chicks on, but they cannot capture a lesbian relationship.
thanks, kay (ac's girlfriend.)
Lol, i just read her review, harsh isn't she?
AND CHARACTERIZATION ROCKS!!!!!!!
oh and jackie- you are so right, experience is the key.

Posted by Liz I agree with Jackie on this one, as much as i respect "brand new writer". Men can't possibly know what's up if they never experienced it firsthand, despite similar situations at times- my girlfriend's best friend is a gay guy into passion and romance, not hardcore sex. However, i doubt he can get into our heads and know exactly how we define romance and passion. thus, lesbians make the best writers of lesbian stories.
Posted by Jackie Even with what i have said above, i give the author all the props in the world. Most men on this website dont have the balls to write a lesbian story, seeing as how vile we are. (which i kind of dont blame them...) I know i could attempt to write gay male material, but it probably would not be that great. So once again, its a nice try. I apologizing for sounding like a violent bitch. I dont think its you as a writer, just you as a male. You dont see things from the vaginas perspective, only what gives you a hard on. Your a typical male, which is probably every reason why i have become what i am today. I guess i cant really sit here and break your balls because your like every other straight male in this country. Much Love,
Jackie
Posted by ac haha. sorry but you are so amusing jackie. the vaginas perspective, lol. as funny as you are, you definitly have a point. i bet the author didn't expect this kinda feedback, but hey, as least he's getting mentioned.
To the author- Your story was well written, well structured, showed good editing skills and was overall, an above-average story. It just lacked reality. The kind of reality that straight males would find impossible to capture. As new writer says in one of her stories- it's our difference that makes us real. That is what seperates your stories from dykes stories. Might i recomend you try straight stories if you arn't allready? you are obviously a very talented writer, you just lack the reality of our relationships. I won't ever understand guys, but i'll assume that this story got the average one off. I know i seemed at bit aggressive in my last review, as my girlfriend so kindly pointed out, but i reckon i'll go with the excuse- CAN YOU FUCKING BLAME ME? YOU TRY DEALING WITH BLOODY PMS DAMMIT!!!!!! hehe. see y'all later.
