9ine Chapter 1

(Part 3 from 3)

He took a knee to pray to the goddess as she spread her legs to let him drink from her fountain. His sandy tongue grazed the soft flesh around her lips and her body shuddered in pleasure. She took his long hair in both hands and gently yet forcefully pulled him in to drink more deeply of her river. Her body racked with electricity as he obliged to her will, he enjoyed bringing a woman to the brink of blackness.
After a few more moments of the tantalizing tonguing she pulled him up to stand in front of her wet mouth. She pulled his root to the back of her throat and lashed out at it with her tongue. Nine purred at the power of her mouth, the wetness dripping down his shaft to tickle his satchel. He knew better then to let this go on for much longer, thus he with drew and laid himself atop her. He nipped at her neck again gently and rubbed his rough tongue across her throat. Her flesh pimpled up where ever his tongue went, slowly he made his way down to her breasts and suckled each nipple till they were about to pop off.
She reached down and pulled his manhood to her hot fold, and he pressed slightly and eased himself in to her steamy tunnel. She gasped as his girth filled her more then any mere mortal, she moaned as he withdrew slightly to let her oils fill her void. Once again he pushed in and this time he pushed until his stomach rested upon hers. Lust clouded her eyes when he peered into them.

Their bodies played a crescendo for a bit, his sweat dripping into her stinging eyes, he eased himself out of her, to her disdain. She moved her self to her knees, while he stood on the floor and gently pushed himself back in to her nest from behind. He reached forward and kneaded one breast while the other hand guided her back and forth on his sword. Her moans were louder and louder and the creaky bed was playing a loud uneven tune of its own.

As she peeled at the wool sheets of the bed screaming her pleasure Nine meowed out loudly as he unleashed his gift into her wet swamp. She laid forward breathlessly, “ that was something to write home about.” she whispered into the bed. Nine reached for his pouch of gold, he handed her the skirt and pushed a gold piece into her palm.
She eyed him strangely as he gently pushed her through the door, she heard the slide of the bolt. Cherry exasperatedly stomped her foot and made for her own room, once inside she sighed to herself, “ shame, he is something else..” She cleaned herself up a bit and decided to head back to her stool.

Nine also decided to clean up and head out, but he would avoid the ramble of the common room. He prepared himself to exit out into the night deciding to take to the roofs for some fresh air. Nine made his way to his favorite perch in Namir, the high reaching towers of the church. He could sit there for hours looking to the stars, or chatting with the stone gargoyles about why he even existed. This was his sacred place, no man would infringe on his rule here.

Nine watched the slow path of the moon, his thoughts on the missing merchant and his beautiful wife. He wondered where this man could be, and if he was capable of even finding him. Too many mind Elkran, his blade master would have chaste him, but Elkran wasn’t here none of his half people were here.
Meanwhile way out of Nine’s range of sight a mans body bobbed lazily in the bay the current slowly pulling it toward Namir. Not the first, not the last, body to slowly wend its way back to whence it came. The small fish of the bay nipping away at the carcass carelessly discarded amongst them.
Many hours later Nine crawled into his sheets, to greet the realm of dreams oddly amused at the enjoyment he earlier had in this room. His eyes slid shut, and his breath deepened. Sleep came quickly and contentedly to the half breed with so much pain hidden away.

Nine’s dreams were lucid like that of a drugged man, his mind floated in the past, the present, and strangely he was greeted by a bulbous face of a man who kept telling him to run.
He tossed and turned for most of his sleep, finally a rope tightening around his neck sent him out of his sleep and straight up in bed.
He looked around his dark room and noticed a silhouette cast from a dim light outside of his chamber door, Nine reached out and pulled a dagger from his night stand and griped it in his hand. He watched as the bolt of his door was raised from the outside, and snapped his eyes shut, slowed his breath and acted as if he were sleeping.

A creak in the floor boards could be heard as someone slunk toward his bed, Nine laid in wait until the intruder was beside him. The stranger reached down toward Nine but abruptly sucked in a breath as he felt something sharp push into his thigh under his groin. “ One wrong move pal and you’ll be a pair short of a full deck.” Nine growled out, slowly pulling himself into a sitting position, “ It’s me Nine, Jainus, I’ve come to warn you, to tell you to get out of town and quick.” Jainus said in a hush voice.

Nine reached over whispered a sacred tone and a flame caught the tip of his finger and he lit his candle. He looked up to the thieves face, “ Why would I want to be leaving my friend?” He questioned. “ Well after you left today, I got a little curious about this missing man, and I did some snooping for you.” Jainus paused for a moment. “ And, well it’s bad Nine, you’ve got to go, a body washed up on shore a little after mid of night.”
Nine did not look impressed, “ And that has what to do with me?” Jainus was shaking his head, “ It was a merchant, from town, he had he guts tore out by what looked like a big ass cat.” Nine was more then a little impressed now, “ who’s framing me Jainus?” Jainus’s head was rattling again, “ I don’t have all the info yet, but I know that despite his arguing the magistrate is going to have some boys here by dawn for you, you’ll swing if they find you here cat, and you know this.”

Nine rubbed his face, trying to come to terms with what his friend said, sleep still holding on by a hang nail. He pulled his leathers on and slipped into his mail and other clothing quickly. “ Where the hell am I going to go now?” he whispered to him self. “ You could try the south, a man with your skills can make a good living in the bigger cities I hear tell.” Jainus answered the unasked question.
Nine looked at him a little on the dumb side, “ You just answered why that wouldn’t work for me.” Jainus’s brow furrowed in question, “ what do you mean I think you would do well in a larger-” Nine waved his paw in the air, “ the man part I mean Jainus, I’m not a fucking man, my own people don’t want me.” Nine stated coldly, “ and men, well lets face it I walk on two legs but, they don’t give a shit.”
He quickly gathered his belongings strewn about and put them in a rugged traveling bag. Jainus stood quietly waiting for his friend to finish up, wondering what he could do to help. Nine threw his cloak on and slung the strap to his bag over his shoulder and turned to say farewell to his best friend. Jainus handed him a brooch, “ Nine I want you to have this.” Nine looked down at the brooch, it was a masterfully crafted piece depicting a demon stealing a soul from a man, the demon had rubies in it’s eyes and nine could sense the magic there.

“ I couldn’t Jainus, you’ve done much for me in the time I’ve known you.” Nine said as he tried to hand the brooch back to Jainus. Jainus put his hands up in front of him, “ No I want you to have it, I’m inducting you into the thieves guild this is our brooch, you show it around where you find your self and you will always have a meal and bed.”
Nine’s eyes welled up a little, “ I owe you so much Jainus, ill never be able to repay you.” Jainus looked at him thoughtfully, “ Cat, getting to know you was worth it, you’re a one of a kind Nine, I hope to one day see you again.” Nine put his paw out and Jainus took it into his own and shook him a farewell.

Nine climbed out the window and once again that night took to the roof tops, he stopped by his perch one last time and watched the dawn come in. From his seat he could see a group of ten guards enter the Warf. Nine turned and leaped to a nearby roof and faded away from the city.
