How could any of this be bteter stated? It couldn't.

Laurie Colwin was 3 years younger than I am. I coteund on reading her through one stage after another and was devastated by her death at such a young age. Whenever I need to laugh I pick up Happy All the Time of course, at this point I've read it so many times that I can quote whole passages of it. I have a tape of a reading Colwin did for a soup kitchen benefit so when I'm reading her novels I can hear her voice a very special treat.
