They met regularly over the next two weeks. I can start you on the pill today, but don’t do anything for two weeks to get your body organized and in rhythm. But if you do, use a condom’. ‘No condom’ said Jess, ‘I want skin, I want flesh, I want HIM. I don’t want rubber’. ‘Good girl’ said the doc, ‘I like your style. Jonathan is going to be a very lucky boy’. She gave her the pills, ‘But remember there can be no sex until a week Saturday at the earliest if you are relying on the pill’. I will pay for your food too, so get room service if you are too busy to go out to eat’. ‘Wow, thanks Mum’ said Jess, ‘you are so cool’. ‘So when are we going to meet this stud of yours?’ her mum asked. ‘I will bring him home at half term. You will love him’.

The week leading to the Big Day dragged by slowly.
