My older sister, who is adtoped, was diagnosed many years ago with manic-depression/bi-polar and it has been very difficult many years. This was all when she was an adult and I wonder if they had knowledge of this in the 70's and'80's, how much easier her life may have been. She could never hold a job for any length of time and always ending with yelling-their fault. Very high high's and low low's. And, for period of times, she would think she could go without meds, which is what I have come to know alot of people diagnosed do - because they start to feel better. SHe dropped out of school young and had a series of partly self created hardships. I wonder if she had been diagnosed young and medicated, would her path have been different? She has since over the years, come to realize that the meds are necessary to make her somewhat even-keel. While she cannot take the stress of real work, she has gone back to school to get a degree and does really well. SHe is an environmentalist in Montana and is about to own her own home. We continue to pray for her and that life keeps on this track for her. Thank you for sharing your story and good luck, and prayers to you... Marcelle

If you never or seldom paid in to the Social Security seystm you will not be qualified for benefits, just like any other retirement plan. Most Baby Boomers are fine, they get their money and benefits. Only people that are spouses or dependents of a member, can legally get any benefits as well. Social Security was never meant to be an insurance program for ALL Americans, you have to contribute.Homeless? I suspect a few might. But the great majority of Baby Boomers are fine. And don't worry about the government, they cant take anything away from you.Yes, it is the younger generations that needs to be thinking of their future. The government is gonna be getting out of annuity/insurance business. They would much rather see folks run their own retirement programs. Besides that, it is better for the economy that investments be made in the private sector.Most the Baby Boomers did just that, they have Social Security but they also have investments and annuities. It is gonna be rough on people that have to live just off Social Security and even worse for those that have nothing set aside for old age. They will become a burden to society.

Outstanding! This is the best story I have read on any site I have been on!I wish more people knew how to write like this! It is so erotic with out being total trash. Super sexy and loving.
